Skillbot Course

Skillbot: robotics challenges

Skillbot is suitable for students aged 9 to 11 who are already able to investigate problems in more depth and support solutions with greater autonomy. The track delves deeper into robotics, programming, strategy and decision-making to strengthen confidence in the face of more complex challenges.

Presentation

More challenging robotics

Skillbot takes the student to a higher level of analysis, organization and applied creativity. Projects require more observation, more strategy, and more understanding of how different decisions affect the end result.

Along the trail, children explore automation, electronic devices, sustainability, energy and conscious consumption in a practical and engaging format.

Skills

What develops

  • Logical reasoning and critical thinking.
  • Decision making based on analysis and testing.
  • Creative autonomy in more complex projects.
  • Organization, responsibility and persistence.
  • More practical view of technology and the real world.
Worked pillars

Challenges with guidance

Problem analysis

The student learns to observe better, identify variables and construct more consistent responses.

Automation and devices

The projects bring children closer to situations linked to electronics, automated systems and real applications.

Sustainability and energy

The course connects technology to contemporary themes and helps students think more critically about the world.

Autonomy with method

Challenges encourage children to test hypotheses, review choices and mature their way of solving problems.

What are the classes like?

Problem, build, test and review

Skillbot classes present more elaborate challenges, but always with age-appropriate progression. The student knows the problem, builds the project, programs or adjusts the system's behavior and analyzes the result.

This process strengthens autonomy and helps the child support their solutions with more clarity, responsibility and initiative.

Applications

Projects and themes

Reference projects

A scale, alarm clock, remote-controlled car, sensor cart and treadmill help the student understand concrete applications of technology.

Applied technology

Automation, electronics, sensors and system behavior appear increasingly integrated into the challenges.

Present themes

Sustainability, conscious consumption and energy help connect projects to relevant everyday issues.

Preparation for upcoming trails

Skillbot strengthens the foundation needed for courses that require even more programming, engineering, and automation.
