About My Robot Barra da Tijuca
My Robot Barra da Tijuca is a unit of My Robot School, an educational technology school that uses robotics, programming, artificial intelligence and maker culture as ways to develop logical reasoning, creativity, autonomy, collaboration and trust.
Our mission is to make every student realize that technology is not just something to watch, consume or use. Technology is also a language for creating solutions, solving problems, materializing ideas, working as a team and participating in the future with more protagonism.

Why just teach, when you can show?
This question summarizes an important part of our way of teaching. When the student sees a project take shape, tests its operation and understands the reason for each adjustment, the technology stops being abstract and starts to make sense.

A global technology school
My Robot School was born in South Korea, in 2008, as a school dedicated to teaching educational robotics and programming. Since then, it has rapidly expanded to more than 16 countries, currently having more than 1,500 units worldwide.
In Brazil, there are already more than 40 My Robot units. The brand's proposal is to offer innovative training in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, preparing children, teenagers, young people and adults to understand and master digital age technologies.
What sets My Robot School apart is the combination of its own methodology, practical teaching, cutting-edge technology, international quality standards and exclusive educational kits.

How we teach
From curiosity to confidence
The My Robot methodology was structured to transform curiosity into confidence. The student interacts with the topic, understands the concept, builds the project, tests, adjusts, organizes the process and takes learning beyond the classroom.

International competition
My Robot School is also the organizer of one of the biggest robotics competitions in the world: IYRC, International Student Robotics Championship.
Our students have the opportunity to participate in local stages carried out by My Robot units in Brazil and, depending on their score and performance, they can advance to regional, state, national and even global stages.
This experience extends learning beyond the classroom, developing teamwork, discipline, creativity, logical reasoning, emotional control, a healthy competitive spirit and contact with other cultures.
